HERO
HERO is our electronic school management system that has a lot of functionality for staff, students and parents. We use this system as our main source of communication and reporting to our school community.
HERO has an online student portfolio and reporting tool, which gives parents easy access to their child’s learning, via an individual account. The account is specific to you and your child/ren and is connected to the email address that is on file at school. Parents can either share access to an account, or have one each, depending on their preference, as long as the email address you are using is in our system. One account will provide you with access to the learning information for all your children who are enrolled at Clearview Primary.
We believe that a strong home-school partnership is vital in supporting our students to achieve their very best. HERO is designed to strengthen this partnership by providing students and parents with more regular, relevant and up to date learning information, via an easy-access, secure, online platform.
Logging In to HERO (new users)
- Download the Hero by Linc-Ed app from the app store.
Note: use the keywords Hero-LINC-ED when searching for the app.
Alternatively, open your browser and enter go.linc-ed.com
2. Click NEW USER
3. Enter the email address you have provided the school and click REQUEST PASSWORD LINK
If your email address is not accepted, please contact the school office.
4. You will receive a message confirming a password email has been sent.
5. Open your email inbox and click on the Hero Password Reset email
If you do not receive a Hero Password Reset email, check your spam folder.
6. Open the email and click RESET MY PASSWORD
7. Enter a secure password (8 or more characters), verify this password then click SET PASSWORD
8. You will receive a confirmation message. Click SIGN IN.
9. Enter your email address and your newly set password. If you are using a public device or do not want your password auto-saved, tick This is a public device
10. Click SIGN IN.
ONCE YOU HAVE SIGNED IN:
1. You will see Community notices sent by your child’s school. If the text is long, you may need to click read more to view the whole message
Logging In to HERO (existing users)
- Download the HERO by Linc-Ed app from the app store.
Note: use the keywords Hero-LINC-ED when searching for the app.
NB: You have exactly the same login details and all accounts transfer from LINC-ED. Even if you visit the school’s old LINC-ED site (https://clearview.linc-ed.com) you will be redirected to Hero.
Viewing your Accounts
The finance section of Hero is now open for viewing of accounts.
A new feature of Hero is that you may now pay by credit card via the Hero app. There is a small fee for this convenience or you are welcome to pay by direct debit or by coming into the office to pay by EFTPOS. If you wish to pay online or set up an automatic payment, our account number is: 12-3147-0367927-00.
The Board has opted to keep Clearview a cashless school permanently so the only payments accepted at the office are by EFTPOS and credit card.
